Evolution Dance Theatre
We are very excited to be casting for our next show ‘Follow your Heart’, a multimedia and multidisciplinary full length production; a Middle Eastern spectacle. As we are now expanding to global casting and looking for global talent, we are waiving all registration fees.
All applicants must have at least five years of dance experience and demonstrate professionalism throughout rehearsals, before and during the shows.
Evolution Dance Theatre is casting for a number of dance roles with certain roles by invitation only.

Criteria for Dancers:
- Female belly dancers; height 5’3”-5’9”
- Female Middle Eastern dancers; height 5’3”-5’9”
- Female dancers who can whirl
- Male and female jazz/modern dancers who are less than 40 years of age – Male dancers must be at least 5’10”
- Male and female hip-hop dancers
- Male Middle Eastern dancers (not belly dancers)
- Preferred consideration will be given to dancers who are capable of acting and or have knowledge and experience in more than one required dance genre.

Evolution Dance Theatre is currently seeking choreographers for a limited number of dances for the full length production.
Choreographers must have choreographic experience with one or more of the following genres:
Criteria for Choreographers:
- Tribal
- Belly dance
- Jazz/Modern
- Hip Hop
Choreographers please submit:

- Your artistic vision– less than 200 words
- Types of dances you have studied and choreographed
- Samples of your choreography (solo, group) –linked video
- Your creative process and how you describe your choreography – less than 200 words
- Your photo
- Why do you like to participate in our production – less than 150 words
Selection Process:
The selection panel is made up of a variety of artists and executives that will select dance applicants who possess strong stage presence and technique, have knowledge and experience of dance theatre, can pick up choreography quickly and take directions well.
The same panel will also select choreographers who possess choreography techniques that can reveal a story, choreographies that are interesting, innovative, have dance theatre knowledge and experience.
